About Me

I'm a journalist in Wichita, KS. My aim is to cover humanitarian crises. I've interned with the NPR affiliate station, KMUW, and the Wichita Journalism Collaborative. I've worked for The Sunflower, the Wichita State University newspaper, for over one year. My stories have also been featured on the front page of the Wichita Eagle as well as in The Journal magazine. I wrote scripts for the morning and afternoon newscasts at KMUW. At the Wichita Journalism Collaborative, I concentrated my writing on homelessness and the lack of affordable housing in Wichita. Within the local beat I don't have many opportunities to cover international news, but I jump on as many of those stories as possible.
